A Shower for C-Marie
My beloved Cora Marie has met the man of her dreams and is tying the knot on 8.20.2011. This girl and I go wayyyy back, to the Acres of Merihill, to the days of the cement pond. We have been through thick and thin together, and today I had the pleasure of joining her not only on her birthday, but on her bridal shower day too!
The shin-dig took place at Big Rock Chophouse in Troy. The room was absolutely beautimus!

After all the hugs, the ladies lunched.
B&S grabbed a thirst-quenching Arnold Palmer, then proceeded to carb up with some salty bread and blueberry muffins. Unbelievably tasty. Slices of heaven even. I think S stashed a basket of baked goods in her MK bag. Next came creamy mushroom soup followed by The Bounty Hunter Salad. Every course was dee-lish!
And last but not least, cassata cake from Mannino’s Bakery!

The gifts were a-plenty!
The girl is blessed, no doubt about it. Between her family, friends, and hubby-to-be, she has no shortage of support. Plus it’s hard to believe there’s a sweet little 2-year-old boy running around calling her, “Mommy.”
