The Iceman Comes To Town

The Iceman

I’ve been so blessed with visitors lately! Last weekend my Mom and Dad came into town to celebrate my birthday. And this past weekend, my brother Ricky and his girlfriend Samantha came down from Chicago and spent a few nights in the Munce! Allie has been kept pretty busy the past two weekends too,, the first with Uncle Griffy then this weekend with Cousin Chuck! Yall have met Chuck before in previous posts, but to refresh, he is a 7# Maltese who’s full name is Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell. Needless to say, it was an eventful weekend with him in tow 🙂

Friday night before the visitors, the hubs and I went down to Noblesville for dinner at Stone Creek Dining Company. A few of our friends joined us a little later, and we had some f.u.n. Perhaps a little too much (I guess that’s always possible!). Saturday after a stellar 7-mile run, hubs and I once again packed up and headed south, this time to Fishers/ Indy where we met up with our friends Nic and Angie. The boys headed out to do some virtual golfing while Angie and I headed down to Broad Ripple for some boutique hopping and lunching! After doing a lil damage and getting a mani, we hit the road back up to Muncie and found Ricky, Sam and Chuck waiting for us at home! We spent the night in, as we were all kinda beat, catching up over spirits and Pizza King.

Ain't it the truth

Sunday was a gloomy kind of day, so we decided right off the bat that we would just keep things low key. We did head over to Scotty’s Brewhouse for lunch/ dill chips and hit up Puerto Vallarta for din din/ margs later. The night was finished with a little Wii bowling and tennis tourney, wine, and Cop and a Half! Good times.

Today was a work day for the hubs and I (Monday = Funday, gah). The 3-some hit the road early enough to miss out on the crap weather that came in a little later this afternoon. It has stopped sleeting here now, but the roads can’t be very nice out there now that it’s below freezing and Central Indiana got about an inch of rain this morning. At least I’m safe on my couch and I’ve got brownies in the oven. I knew the spring-ish weather we got last week wouldn’t last. Was just hoping it would stay a little longer,,,

Brownie batter, mmm.

Happy last week of February! Make it a good one! ❤

Sounds like a super fun weekend, and so much fun spending time with friends. I was within inches of going to Scotty’s on Sunday afternoon, but we ended up going to Ruby Tuesdays instead. How funny!
